It's a Hallmark Christmas movie, folks - don't have blockbuster expectations.
As someone who has seen every P&P adaptation ever, it's cute - just relax and enjoy. Darcy is handsome and charming, Elizabeth is sweet - just enjoy for what it is, and don't expect a FULLY adapted story. There is no time for that; again: it's HALLMARK.
Just enjoy! I have pretty high standards, and still had an enjoyable two hours (with commercials).
