This is not a bad series. It has it's charm. Some of the visual effects are rather fun. (Especially when Josh gets the keys. You'll know what I mean if you watch it).
The way the show is narrated. (The protagonist Josh looking into the camera and talking about his past.) Is very Ferris Bueller. And I guess the writers knew what they were doing by casting Matthew Broderick as the the Principal.
The whole apocalypse feel of the wasteland in the show screams Turbo Kid. The main bad guy is even called Turbo. That can't be coincidence.
The script at times feels like it has been written by a 40+ person trying to sound cool. Using the word "Pwned" in 2019?... no.
I would recommend the show. But I would seriously watch Turbo Kid first. As it's a superior watch.
