First of all I gotta say I'm a big Sammo Hung fan. I've watched his movies and his TV series Martial Law. This film plods along at a slow pace with an okay script and too be fair some really nice cinematography. Now want really gets my goat is the fight scenes and the way they have been filmed. Everytime there's Sammo kicking the film becomes this blurry shaky cam nonsense! My god its frustrating to watch. I've no idea why they filmed the fight scenes this way. I don't think it's to try and disguise Sammo getting on a bit ( considering he had a heart attack during IP man 2 and went back to work 2 days later) or whether it's to try and add some dynamic effect. I wanted to watch this to see Sammo in action but what I watched was some blurry fight scenes. I'm gutted.
