This week: Some insight into Norah's motivation. And she has to Put Sherlocqu off the scent. A solid plot line, with the only bit of slightly unnecessary comedy of the week. But it does have a more powerful pay off than you would expect.
Iris tries to be a good reporter. And has to get tough. And does. Where has this character been all this time! Finally written as she should be.
Ralph and Barry go undercover to move the main plot along. Rather than a story of the week. Which is good. They face the old green lantern foe from his comics goldface. Who was in Flash comics for a bit more recently, but.. quite a successful go at making him work for tv. Both face predictable moral dilemmas. But this strand manages to have far more edge to it than you would expect. It grabs as a result and it really works.
So a good episode which manages to be tough when you didn't think it could. Season still struggling to fit everyone in though, as still no Joe and it's cisco who goes missing this week. Not that I mind the later. But a good one all in all.
