Hvitserk learns Buddha´s teachings from an Asian slave. Lagherta is missing and King Alfred keeps his word giving lands to Ubbe and Torvi; however, Bjorn decides to leave Wessex with Gunnhild to team up Harald to overthrow Ivar from Kattegat. In Iceland, Floki receives the starving Helgi that tells that his family is dying. In Wessex, Judith plots a scheme and poisons a conspirator.
