I loved this movie!
The story is full of surprises and idiosyncracies, the images wild, the moral feminist (if I can say so as a man) and still sexy (if I am allowed to say so as a man).
This movie seems to my knowledge to be the root of all the future nasties like "Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl", "Machine Girl", "Gothic and Psycho Lolita", "Zombie Ass" and may also brought some inspiration for some of Sono's and Miike's films.
Yes, boobs are allowed in this movie. No frontal nudity though.
I hate Amazon who is the owner of IMDB, but I couldn't help but to revive my account for writing something nice about this good movie.
So, how can a movie with boobs be feminist?
First, because boobs are feminist.
Second, because a boy/girl finds her/his way in adolescence without compromising to social standards.
Third, because men are really ridiculous idiots in this movie.
Fourth, because women and men change their roles here (apart from point four, which is decidedly dedicated to men exclusively).
Fifth, because love tells me.
