Joy Division was one of the biggest influencer's of 80's music. One has to wonder if The Cure would have been as big had Ian Curtis lived. Sam Riley delivers an amazing, inspired performance capturing all of Curtis's nuances on stage. The story is riveting and tragic. Beautifully directed; filmed in black and white. A definite must see if you are a Joy Division fan.
