ABALON is an entertaining episode thanks to the presence of a truly A-list guest star: none other than Chuck Heston, playing a mad scientist experimenting with creating gill-people who can swim unaided deep below the surface. Heston is great fun and makes up for deficiencies elsewhere, particularly the embarrassing 'sex education' part of the episode involving Lucas and a would-be girlfriend.
