4/10
No novelty factor.....

Sai Dharam Tej proved to have mass appeal with his first film itself. But complaints that he is doing only routine commercial masala films with routine stories started to come up. But his films became commercial success which is what matters most. But his last three films were big failures at the box office. He pinned all his hopes on V. V. Vinayak directed Inttelligent to give him not only a commercial success, but also the first blockbuster of his career. Lavanya Tripathi paired with Tej in this film.

Sensational director V. V. Vinayak with his positive track record (he has only three commercial failures) seems to be a right choice for Sai Dharam Tej. Coming from his super hit comeback film of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, a lot of buzz surrounded Inttelligent. Fans have hopes that this film will get Sai Dharam Tej back on track. Will Inttelligent helps Sai Dharam Tej as he expected, and keep the cash registers ringing? Let's find out if Sai Dharam Tej scored a hit or not with Inttelligent review

Story of this film is pretty simple and involves a software company. Dharam Tej works as a software engineer in an IT company in Hyderabad. He is very loyal to his company and the boss, played by Nasser. Suddenly trouble starts when a mafia gang's eye fall on this company. Dharam Tej's boss gets killed and the company gets into deep troubles. Enter Dharma Bhai! Who is Dharma Bhai, and what is the connection between this company and him, and how he tackles the matter and protect it forms the crux of the story.

Sai Dharam Tej carried the weight of this film on his shoulders with aplomb and rose to the occasion. He is at ease in both comedy and action sequences. His presence is charming, and dances graceful. Lavanya Tripathi is gorgeous in songs and there is no need to say about performance as she proved herself to be a very good actress with her previous films. Her performance is adequate to the role. In a major minus point, she found it tough to match the dancing abilities of Sai Dharam Tej and it is visible especially in Chamaku Chamaku Cham song.

Nasser justified his role with his classy performance. Rahul Dev played the antagonist of this film. He is below par as there is nothing much about the character. Shayaji Shindey, Ashish Vidyarthi, Venu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Prudhvi played supporting roles. Their performance is good. Comedy scenes involving Posani and Jaya Prakash Reddy evoked few good laughs in the first half of the movie.

One of the biggest minus points of Inttelligent is lack of novel story. The story and screenplay are as routine as you have seen in numerous films. Coming to V. V. Vinayak, he is not up to the task. The direction is very average and inncoherence in narration coupled with over the top story elements proved to be undoing of this film. Especially the scenes where thousands of crores of (rupees) of the villains to the poor have 1990s written all over them.

Overall, Inttelligent is let down by routine story and average direction. Lackluster music and not very good production values marred the decent work by the actors. The first half of the film is above average in entertainment, and the interval bang is okay in effect. Few comedy scenes and Sai Dharam Tej remain the sole highlights of Inttelligent. Only hero cannot make a film hit and other departments have to be in sync. Inttelligent disappoints the star, his fans and movie lovers with its no novelty factor.
