All of these procedurals do this and CM has done SEVERAL. It's trite and boring. The hyper super genius mass murdering Bond villain who's always trying to kill them, unsuccessfully and always gets away, successfully. May as well be Batman vs the Joker. And they just drag it out and drag it out and drag it out some more. It's one thing to use "Mr. Scratch" as a production tool to explain Hoch's leaving the show - - - but to keep on with it is silly.
