Maybe works as a trailer

Warning: Spoilers
"Snow Steam Iron" is a new short film that was only released exactly a month before I am writing this review. These four minutes are the newest filmmaking effort by (not always) respected director Zack Snyder and to be honest if a film like 300 is still one's career-defining effort, then that is not a good sign. But back to this one here: Yes it is indeed very short and the particular shots/scenes seem so randomly thrown together that the outcome is simply not great. No famous actors in here, but those who are don't really make a difference either, which is admittedly also due to their material. The scenes look fairly stylish at times and if these had been appetizers for a full feature film, then this could have been interesting. But as this is the film itself already, it is another style over substance work for Snyder. I am also not sure what is really special about this one here. Maybe the ways in which it was filmed or released? It sure isn't that justice was done atmospherically to the 3 terms in the title. So the film could, probably should, have been named differently. Anyway, I did not enjoy the watch and give it a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
