Rorschach (2015)
4/10
Slow paced and rather uneventful...

I happened to find "Rorschach" by random luck on YouTube of all places, when I was looking at some Rorschach scenes from "Watchmen". It said "scariest film online?" so that did catch my attention.

While this is definitely not among the most fast paced of horror movies, it is not among the most impressive or thrilling of horror movies either. Actually, there is very little happening throughout the course of the entire movie, and that was sort of a kill switch for me, because it made it extremely difficult to find the will to keep watching it. I did pull through to the end though.

"Rorschach" is a horror movie that builds on atmosphere and a sense of the viewer actually being present with the people in the movie. So if you like that sort of movie, you will find enjoyment in "Rorschach". However, to me, it felt more like a documentary than it actually felt like an actual movie. A very slow paced and uneventful documentary.

I will say that the acting in the movie was actually quite good, taking into consideration that limitation of the script and storyline that they had to work with.

For an atmospheric horror movie then "Rorschach" didn't really turn out to be impressive for me. Sure, there were some good moments, but the overall result wasn't a particularly scary and disturbing atmosphere.

All in all, "Rorschach" scores a less than average 4 out of 10 stars rating from me. It was a good enough production for a very limited budget, but the movie just didn't have much to offer or much of any appeal.
