The Last Ship: Resistance (2016)
Season 3, Episode 12

We are back in USA, everyone. The Nathan James (people in USA still thinking Chandler is under arrest) is getting back home, and Shaw and the regional leaders have a chance to finally get rid of the pesky guy. However, Chandler and the others will try to make things difficult.

"Resistance" is a highly entertaining episode, where we get to know about the regional leaders' plans and about how the situation is affecting people and making them despair. Humanity and empathy are not very popular, and the surviving USA population just wants a roof and food, having lost all trust in the army. We get the chance to see (in a simple manner) how trust is important, how it is different from distrust, and how many (not all) will sacrifice everything for food and shelter. It does for gripping moments, and the show does a good job in showing without making it too much exploitation.

And the action, with some cool fights and high tension moments, also delivers. Great episode.
