Baby Be Good (1935)
4/10
Betty, the voice of reason
29 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
"Baby Be Good" is a 1935 cartoon that runs for 8 minutes and stars Betty Boop once again. But oh what happened? Betty is a mother now. But don't worry guys, it seems she is still single. But she also acts as a voice of reason which goes completely against all the ridiculously insane stuff she has done during her younger days. This black-and-white cartoon is obviously not from Betty's early days anymore. Sadly I must say I found Betty's co-lead here, or actually Betty is the co-lead, not half as interesting as several other co-leads in Betty's cartoons and as a result of that the entire story, also with the tale Betty narrates becomes fairly uninteresting to me. I have seen many better Betty Boop cartoons and I don't recommend the watch here. Luckily the baby character did not really show up in other cartoons I believe, or at least not the most known ones.
