Review of Muqabla

Muqabla (1993)
9/10
One Of Govinda's Finest Film.Explosive Performance.

Before Venturing Into A Line Comedy Films Directed By David Dhawan And Written By Rumi Jaffrey From Raja Babu From (1994) To Jodi No.1 (2001) Govinda Seriously Tried To Change His Image From Drama/Comics Actor To Highly Aggressive And Volatile For Justice Kind Of Persona With 2 Films

1.Muqabla (1993) And 2. Iqbal Durrani's Khuddar (1994) Although His Performance Was More Volatile In Khuddar (1994).

Muqabla Completely Belongs To Govinda As An Honest,Sincere And Angry At The System Lower Level Cop Who Wants To Unleash His Fury But Is Caught In His Uniform And Duty. After Khuddar (1994) I Seriously Consider 'Muqabla'(1993) AsThe Best Acting Work Of Govinda.

Watch Out For The Scene When Govinda Beats A Bunch Of Public Who Beats A Child For Stealing Bread And His Helplessness To Save A Woman Victim From Goons.Govinda Really Excelled In Those Scenes.

If You Think He Is Just A Comic Actor Then You Seriously Need To watch Muqabla (1993) And Khuddar (1994).

After Govinda Its Shakti Kapoor Who Shines Well In A Highly Evil Negative Role Which Is Vastly Contrast From His Comical Role In Raja Babu (1993) Released Same Year.

Overall Its A Very Good Film On Crime,Society And Police And Govinda Gives A Fabulous Performance.

7/10.
