Loved this season, not sure about the ending but..

Warning: Spoilers
I loved this season, all the intensity and drama. I think this was my favorite season, though I know it was a bit controversial. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Sorkin chose this, he likes to make decisions that scare him. I hope Rachel and Mike stay together. I think they should have gotten married because without conjugal visits and stuff I don't think either will survive very well. And the idea that the board would turn her down because of mike, ugh, makes me want to scream. I didn't like the choice that Sorkin made about Mike going to jail, but I am curious about next season and while some viewers have complained this ending is ruining the show, I disagree. This is no way on the scale of (for example) the horrible Dexter ending. For one thing. this isn't the ending! For another, just because I wish Mike got out doesn't mean I don't respect Sorkin's decision. I'll just have to see how next season goes.

I still don't feel like Mike committed a crime. Where I live he wouldn't have had to go to school, just intern for a few years. I feel it's ridiculous that people think he should go away for this. He practices law better than other attorneys. He is a lawyer in my book.He passed the bar; that should be good enough. So what if he said he went to Harvard. Law should be changed. (I guess I disagree with the show-runner that he needs to be punished.)

And poor Rachel! And poor everyone that didn't run away (like 3 people.) This sucks. And I hate that Mike didn't wait. Excited for next season.

I like the drama behind this show, I did not like season 3 where it was Mike practicing outside Jessica/Harvey's office. So I'm glad they really focused on that. While I hope Mike gets out, I will keep watching no matter where this goes.
