Chrissie is close to meltdown, having her husband in a cell several floors below her Office at work. She believes him to be guilty. River has to delve deeply into Stevie's private life, uncovering secrets, and facing up to a side of her life that he knew nothing about. He's faced with a tough dilemma.
If ever a series has passed by so quickly, it's River, what a truly unique, and utterly refreshing show this has been. The finale was excellent, very shocking, hard hitting, very gritty. Amazingly well acted as always, Turlough Convery was a revelation, just so good.
One of those shows that as much as I've loved and would love it to continue, I ask myself how could it possibly continue. A show this good will always be remembered.
