I usually do not review television shows, but I will make an exception for "Bully macht Buddy" as it only consists of 6 episodes of over 20 minutes, so the entire thing is basically 2 hours long, slightly more, which is the average runtime of a fairly long movie. This little show here was done in order to promote Michael Herbig's newest movie "Buddy" 3 years ago and Herbig plays himself in here and it is about the struggles in his relationship to his girlfriend because he is too busy making movies and reading scripts. And apart from that, his best friend's sister moves in with Herbig too, which turns out pretty chaotic for the most part. I personally liked the first episodes, but the longer it went the less entertaining it turned out. The only character I found funny was the sponsor guy with his cereal company. Everybody else has their moments too, but it's not nowhere near as entertaining as it could have been. I need to add that I haven't seen "Buddy" (yet), but I did not have the impression that it's necessary to do so in order to watch and appreciate this series here. Apart from that, "Buddy" has fairly weak reviews, so i am not particularly curious about it. Not recommended.
