I really liked Rashida Jones in Parks and Recreation and while the trailer didn't exactly look amazing, I figured it was worth a shot. This entire show is written by the kind of people who like things "ironically".
The show sets out to make fun of a genre that has become very popular these past few years but does it very, very poorly. Not only is the show poorly written, the jokes are also poorly delivered and they have managed to not have a single scene with good comedic timing.
The worst part is that you can really see what the show is trying to do. The basic idea of the show - a comedy parody of the popular "lone wolf" crime show - is a decent one, but they're just not getting there. It's a shame.
