There were often points in this series, which were improbable, unrealistic, yeah stupid - however this episode just tops it.
While other TV shows nowadays show a lot of over the top fiction, I am just expecting, that Scorpion is better than them - eventually it supposed to portrait smart people. It is even worse, that the writers obviously insulting the intelligence of the viewers!
A "super fungus" which spreads like fire ants. An accidental "super bacteria", which can "vanish" the spores instantly? Using pickled eggs as growing medium (everyone who has a bit of knowledge about fermenting knows, that this won't happen easily], drilling into a gas pipe and ignite the gas, delivering the "super-virus" via steam (usually this won't happen, due to the fact, that steam would instantly sterilize the bacteria, the instant healing of everyone infected, not to forget the back-to-back climbing, which pro-athletes even won't make. Yes - this series is an insult for people with only an average understanding of science or any common sense!
Besides of this, the portrayal of gifted individuals is just moronic. The actors are just really bad in acting and seem not to be able to immerse into their characters.
Don't get me wrong, when the show started, I thought that it was a interesting and bold attempt to show different protagonists and characters. The show had its downsides, but it could become better. Unfortunately it became a discount MacGyver copy, with less realistic stories. So I doubt, that I will after this episode disaster continue to watch it. Please cancel it before it becomes totally ridiculous - oh, well it might be already too late!
