In a very strong season, "Bachelor Party" manages to stick out as one of the weaker episodes, yet is a mostly charming and entertaining episode.
Marshall's attempts at having a 'stripper-free' bachelor party go awry when Barney has to have a say in it, while Robin finds herself in awkward territory at Lily's wedding shower due to a gift she bought.
Surprisingly enough for me, the titular plot in this episode turned out to be the weaker part, often slowing down the episode. There didn't seem to be as many laughs as usual regarding Barney and Marshall, but rather, Robin's plot featured plenty of amusement. The scene that features the good ol' 'switcheroo' is one of the funniest moments in this episode.
"Bachelor Party" is funny, entertaining, stays true to its characters, but is one of the more forgettable episodes from the very strong and very consistent second season.
