This is the best movie that really connected with me as a teen myself growing up in New York. I want to give credit to Boaz Yakin for creating a very realistic story that can connect to teenagers of 2015. a few things i like in this movie is how fresh is portrayed as an intelligent teen that makes a lot of brave decisions, and the love he has for his family.One thing i hate about the movie is Chucky, Fresh's best friend, and the drug dealer Fresh worked with. One way the movie is realistic is the way Fresh's family treats him, the obstacles in the path of a young boys dream. this is a film i think everyone should see because it is great.
