I was a Maisy fanatic as a kid. I had Maisy videos, Maisy books, a Maisy puzzle, and Maisy computer games for my mom's computer. The two games I had were Maisy's Birthday and Maisy's Playhouse. In short, I was a Maisy addict. My 3-4-year-old self could be found watching the Maisy show and my Maisy videos, reading my Maisy books, playing with my Maisy puzzle, and helping Maisy to decorate cookies, dress up, go on a scavenger hunt, and guess what was inside of presents. In my eyes, Maisy the mouse, Charlie the alligator/crocodile (I can never tell the difference), Cyril the squirrel, Tallulah the chicken, and Eddie the elephant were no different from me and my circle of friends. It's no exaggeration to say that Maisy was (and still is) one of my favourite childhood shows. Today, I'm a sophomore in college who still looks at Maisy with two smiles, one on my face and one in my heart.
