I don't see anyone who could play her better...

Honestly I love the show..I like the fact they made her different but not inhuman. She can't feel emotion, she's strictly knowledge, so I don't know how it is you'd think you would act if you were insanely smart but didn't understand society? However they are writing that in the show. She's beginning to understand feelings and how they feel. It's a different world for her so if you expected her to magically change into this normal person than you have really high expectations and should just go back to watching the real housewives. This type of character has been done before Scorpion, Bones, Elementary, Backstrom all have similar character..Highly intelligent people who come off as insensitive and rude because they don't understand the world around them just facts, and some of those shows have been on for years. The difference between them and this one is how they allow the character to feel where she can not, its about the friendship that they are creating with these people who would normally be social outcasts but somehow manage to come together to save lives in a unique way that has not been done before. I think the show is good for entertainment purposes. I think the actress that plays kirsten is doing a find job playing someone who is so remote from the world but you can still see where she nows wants to understand. You can see she's not completely without feeling she may not have cried when Ed died but she's certainly wants justice for his death. I don't act and don't claim to act but if others think they can do a better job at completing the vision of this story. I'd like to see it happen.
