Arrow: State v. Queen (2013)
Season 2, Episode 7
5/10
This is just too ridiculous for my taste.

Warning: Spoilers
After I enjoyed first season quite a lot and became fond of main characters, after this episode the series became officially unwatchable for me.

First season was great, despite too fast pace and too unrealistic fights. The general storyline was great, characters also and the amount of drama optimal.

When the second season started, I was unsure if it is going to be as good as the first was, because the story in first season seemed pretty much rounded.

As the second season started, it seemed like producers ran out of ideas. 1. Oliver's friends and family members are being captured again and again, and he always saves them at the last moment. (in every other episode) 2. They keep bringing characters like The Count. What, he suddenly got cured from madness? 3. Laurel...she is just too much of a bi*** in season 2...I haven't said she was captured again, have I? (OK, this is personal) 4. The story with Sara. This one I could handle. 5. Hahahaha...Malcolm Merlyn alive? I wasn't surprised, but DISAPPOINTED. It isn't interesting, it is very stupid. He got arrow in his chest, in heart area and he acts as nothing happened? And Diggle was there, he didn't make sure he is dead or finish him? I mean really? 6. Oliver gets 'a bit shot' every now and then and minute later he runs like nothing happened.

I know that the show is mainly intended for younger population, but a little bit of reality didn't hurt anyone and it is a shame because the first season was great and characters are good. It DOESN'T HAVE TO BE CHEAP FUN!
