The voice was really grating and didn't seem to match. Rosanna Bar's voice would have been a good match. Could have done without the "feminine products commercials" not to mention the horrid pop up ads.
The movie was a kid friendly, corny for older teens and adults maybe. It would have been better if this was set inside a home where grumpy is adopted and brought home and then causes havoc around the house. Grumping at household festivities, playing pranks...maybe caught eating the Christmas turkey, opening presents etc...
I have to find out who wrote the screenplay and dialog and review their other movies and see if this was just a "drunk and disorderly" project.
Kids 2-7 or 8 will prob like it, older kids...maybe not.
