After travelling with Mr. Bourdain over many incarnations of hosting world wide adventures, I find this CNN production most educational and entertaining. This is no amateur travel program folks, the visuals, directing, and script are top notch. I admire Tony's schmaltz, disdainful and acerbic attitude as well as his handsome good looks. His long history as a wild and crazy New York City Chef adds a deep introspective and much needed levity within war torn, economically challenged, hidden parts of the world.
I never fail to latch on to his desire for adventure and take away the sense of having travelled to distant parts without the jet lag, hangovers and filming frustrations.
