Warning: Spoilers
Inappropriate Ending; Characters not well cast and portrayed; Srabanti's role, Gargi's role are too limited. It will leave you unsatisfied, I bet.

Deb plays a common man (Amal) whose girlfriend (Sohag/Srabanti) is suffering from some terminal illness. He's offered a job by Munmun Sen to smuggle illegal articles across international borders. His first consignment takes him to Dhaka. Before the next consignment he's sent on a trip to Bangkok where he incidentally meets Rijula/Tanushree who was cheated by Gargi/Adrija (Addy) into an escort job. Amal and Rijula meets another Mafia who consigns them with a leather bag. Rijula separates from Amal at the Calcutta airport without informing Amal who soon finds him in trouble with local goons who works for that Mafia as he has lost the leather bag that he entrusted to Rijula. Rijula has taken that bag to her apartment. She calls him after he has searched her for long and asks him to reach her room. Rijula insists on opening the bag to see its contents. It turns out to be 1 crore Indian rupee. They plan on escaping to Pune with that sum. At Pune, when they discover that their money is fake currency, they bet it on racecourse and get huge returns. Soon the racecourse corruption breaks out and cops come out to hunt them. The local goons back in Calcutta also intensify their search with their Pune connections. They plan to escape to Australia. Rijula gets her visa from the consulate whereas Amal is denied due to bad interview. She manages to take off but her partner is stuck back with the leader goon fiercely after him. During the chase game, Amal learns that his Sohag is comatized. As he has lost his hope for her recovery, he becomes more miserable. With the help of his friend Robin, he gets an "Italian" gun and ""in his first shot" and "in an unaimed stray shot" shoots down the goon who is behind him. The movie ends there in a gloomy tone.
