This is a family show about three best friends; Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff), Miranda Sanchez (Lalaine), and David 'Gordo' Gordon (Adam Lamberg). Lizzie deals with her parents (Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine) and bratty brother Matt (Jake Thomas) at home, and various kids at school.
The show is good tween drama with a loving family and traditional school themes. It was tremendously successful. It launched a whole line of never ending tween girl TV shows with incredible marketing powers. It's a new form of Disney princess after decades of Disney kid stars. The nice part is that she's not cynical in any way and is super sweet. Each episode ends with a blooper reel which is again sweet and cute. That's show. Sweet and Cute.
