Supernatural: Shut Up, Dr. Phil (2011)
Season 7, Episode 5
10/10
Spike/Cordie reunion

Warning: Spoilers
I loved this episode as it reunited two of my favorite alums from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter, who possess perfect comedic/dramatic timing. These two do what they do best, and create tongue-in-cheek, memorable characters that we love to watch.

It says a lot about the team behind Supernatural, when they give such a substantial amount of screen time to the two. The director also assured they were given sufficient takes, providing the cutter with good material to work with.

As a husband/wife team of long-lived witches, with marital infidelity issues, and really, what's a little supernatural murder between spouses, these two walked that fine line between too much comedy and parody. A balancing act they perform to perfection. As for Dean and Sam, the Winchester brothers prove again how much they care for Supernatural. They are host with the grace to assure their guest are treated like welcome family.

All in all, one of my favorite episodes. I hope to see more of these two soon.
