A little bit of heaven is a nice movie. I don't know why people are bitching about it. Sure it doesn't feel real when it comes to terminal cancer patients but this is a movie, not a documentary about terminal cancer patients. The message of this movie is not to portray 100% realistically a dying human from colon cancer! It is about changing from within and believing. Believe in yourself and others or whatever will make you feel strong and good. May that be god, your friends your mom your dog...
As other have pointed out it is a bit of chick-flick but I found myself stuck on it through the end. It does get predictable and even cheesy few times but not in an annoying way. Not at all!
All in all I loved Marley the heroine. Kate Hudson performs very well although Gael Garcia feel somewhat "out of her league" as a couple.
A little bit of heaven will certainly not sweep your feet away but it has its moments and will definitely make you FEEL.
