There's some tension to be had in this tale of a ex-drunken matriarch and her three daughters who hole up in the feller of a peculiar brood to escape a vicious storm only to contend with monsters. However this was offset by the mere fact that the mother was completely at fault for taking her family into the 'Storm of the Century' in the first place, not mentioning that its hard to relate to such an obvious c-tease as the eldest daughter demonstrated she was early in the film. Otherwise an OK film, not anything that I'd go out of my way to sing the praises of, but nothing that I'd outright condemn either. Predictable but interesting enough.
