I am actually a former critic and wrote for national media for many years up until one day about 15 years ago I decided that I just wanted to watch films randomly and without knowing as much as possible about the pre-history, making and content (so that I could really start enjoying movies again - like I did when I was much younger).
So I do not read, follow or try to be up to date with any movie journal that is out there...and when I pick a movie to watch I do not even read the back side of the cover/inlay....I just watch it....
And today I watched Shelter...and I enjoyed it.
I thought I was watching a psychological thriller, but then "Shelter" 'surprisingly' changed to a serious horror movie (what is my favourite genre).
So if you like horror, or thriller with a super natural twist even, you will enjoy 'Shelter.'
