Not even half entertaining

Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand the need of having a Franchise when the original itself was just an average comedy

Somehow the trend has been set, after the disaster second installment of Bheja Fry we have another one in the form of Double Dhamaal

The film starts off where the first one stopped and it gives an indication what is going to follow

The first scene itself is filled with over the top rubbish acting which makes the first film seem realistic

The film has the same set formula.... same mimicry, same nonsense, same style of comedy

The film gets overbearing soon enough though there are few comedy gags but unlike the original which itself was no great shakes the jokes are mostly much more then overdone

The twists are too many and mostly nonsensical

There are some funny scenes like Satish's character and also some funny scenes involving Arshad as Ghanta Singh

The second half goes round and round in circles with so many get ups and so much mimicry giving competition to Comedy Circus and the finale twist which gives a shocking revelation of Dhamaal 3

Direction by Indra Kumar is mostly overdone

Music is typical

Arshad Warsi makes a better impact then in the original where he seemed bored here he does well as Ghanta Singh but otherwise he overacts mostly Ritiesh too overdoes but does well in the get up as the blackie mostly Ashish Chaudhary does a better job this time javed Jaffrey is great in many scenes but overdoes it terribly at times Sanjay Dutt is alright but looks too puffed up Malika Sherawat does a good job while Kangana is alright but annoys many times Satish kaushik starts from where he left a decade back with DEEWANA MASTANA
