Where do I begin my critical analysis of this piece of beetle dung of a movie? One of the critics said the acting was one the level of a junior high school play, however, I think that is overly generous. The lines were delivered in a stiff and staccato measure as to lead me to believe they were reading them off of cue cards without rehearsal. The audio portion of the film must have used a mini-cassette tape recorder, and only one at that. And speaking of sound effects, what were they firing in those weapons, caps? The racist plot has indeed been way, way, way overdone. It is time to stick a fork in it. And the hairstyles in 1937? No man had hair like that back then. As for the gunfight at the end, my dear lord could it be more cliché'? Just grab an ending off of the shelf of standard Hollywood endings.
This "western drama" was neither. It was a pathetic Hollywood comedy which was not really fun.
