The pieces out shine the whole

Warning: Spoilers
Odd mix of traditional and computer animation is a great looking, if a tad too video gameish story about a girl who follows a "fox" who takes her keys and ends up in the world where the collectors of the things we forget go. It becomes a quest for a mirror that her deceased mother gave her.

Great sequences don't hang together because the film doesn't build up some of the characters and their motivations. If this were a video game it would work, but as a whole film its less then it should be.

Its worth seeing thanks to sequences like our heroine's forgotten stuffed animal literally riding to the rescue, but you'll probably be like me and wish this was better.
