I don't know what could possibly spoil this film more than it spoiled itself. I only kept watching hoping beyond hope that some development in the plot would rouse me from the coma I almost slipped into watching it. It was just plain weird and boring. I must agree with the above review the Mortensen's character, Phillip (though a criminal, a bigot and not very likable) is the only character in the film with any brains and common sense.

I suspect that the makers of this film were trying to draw sympathy for the homosexuals in this film. There seemed to be no other message. I'm afraid that they actually achieved the opposite from me. (Which I feel was too bad. Please, no accusations of bigotry).

I'm sorry but this was one of the most boring, flat, non-existent plots I've ever seen. It's basically a day in the life of 7 self indulged, whining brats. I couldn't feel the least bit sympathetic to any of there problems. I just wanted to slap them and yell "get a job and get over yourself!" And this is coming from someone you gets teary-eyed every time I watch The Green Mile or The Shawshank Redemption.
