Not expected from Nagesh Kukunoor
14 August 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This is an awful movie. The scenes and dialogues both are quite below average. I respect Nagesh Kukunoor for 3 Deewarein and Iqbal, but this movie cannot be compared to them. The script seems to be written in quite haste. Although the first 30 minutes or so kept my interest in the movie but it was difficult to keep eyes on the screen after assault on Jai's mother. I also do not agree with Jeet's philosophy that he kills his father, mother and almost his brother just for the sake of money and moreover he did not give any time to them to justify themselves. And what a horrible character Ayesha Takia had. After knowing what happened to Jeet and also in picture of what Jeet's family think about him, she did not make any attempt to unify them. Javed Jaffery's character was also quite unimpressive. I do not understand why a beautiful girl like that medical assistant would fall for him. All in all I did not like the movie. May be because almost all thrillers of Hollywood are more or less the same type and I was expecting something special from a talented man like Nagesh Kukunoor.
