Review of The Coon

South Park: The Coon (2009)
Season 13, Episode 2
"every town needs a coon"
19 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Difficult times, the change has not come yet but, why worry if Cartman saw The Dark Knight, The Spirit and Watchmen? Why worry if the Coon is the there to stop rapists? Well if you are the commissioner or any normal citizen well you will have to worry because the Coon can be with you at any moment just to annoy! Certainly superheroes like Batman or Spiderman only care about the safety of the citizens of their respective cities, but on the other hand the Coon practically "saves" a woman from the "attack" of her boyfriend and is there waiting to see if he appears on the news or if he has some geeky fans. So certainly South Park has not in the Coon its symbol, its protector but there's a mysterious boy who, like the Coon, also saw The Dark Knight, The Spirit and Watchmen, wears a mask but who, unlike the Coon, isn't fat and has the trust of the citizens of South Park. Who is Mysterion? That's the question that the Coon has in mind, certainly the Coon can't accept another boy who like him imitates the voice of Bale's Batman, knows the lines of the Spirit and stuff. Of course the Coon is not the only one who wants to f*** Mysterion, for sure he is the only good guy who wants that and of course the evilest villains are doing what they are suppose to as villains, they are trying to eliminate both the Coon and Mysterion. We will have on one hand as the villain the cutest and most friendly and innocent kid from South Park and on the other hand as the superhero simply an a******, certainly Professor Chaos is here! And is simply fantastic and hilarious since the Coon joins Professor Chaos and General Disarray and at one point Chaos will send a threat, he will be like Ledger's Oscar winning Joker, he will destroy a hospital if Mysterion don't reveals who is really. Of course you can imagine the reaction of Butters while he's reading the threat, certainly we knew that Cartman is a terrific villain! After all, his plan was successful, the Coon will be the only superhero in South Park, he will continue talking like Bale's Batman (hilarious when the Coon forgets to talk like Bale's Batman!), certainly nobody cares about the Coon. What fourth grader was Mysterion? Is hilarious to have again the joke of "well all the faces look the same" so certainly we are not sure who was Mysterion (we are sure he wasn't the only fat kid, the only black, the only Jew and the two handicapped kids) but of what I'm sure is that Trey, Matt and company are doing a great job, so far Season 13 is terrific!
