I just came across this film as a free download on Lovefilm, it's in cinema-scope, Technicolour, great cast including Tyrone Power, Terry Moore Michael Rennie, John Justin, Guy Rolfe and directed by one of the great Hollywood directors, Henry King. Tyrone Power gives one of his best performances, he plays the part of a mixed race British officer with such dignity, I was also very impressed with Michael Rennie as the company commander and farther of the girl Tyrone's character falls in love with, what is there not to like.
