Centennial Charmed: Brad Kern Does What The Charmed Ones Couldn't---Kill Cole Once And For All

after watching "Centennial Charmed" for the umpteenth time {what can i say, i'm addicted to Julian McMahon :-)} it occurred to me there is a major plot flaw. if after vanquishing Cole in the alternate reality, and time is again altered, and Paige, Phoebe, Piper and Leo return to their previously known reality, alive, well and powers intact; why was the same not true for Cole? if time is being reversed to return The Charmed Ones and their white lighter to their previous states, why has Cole not been returned as well? if the writer's reasoning is because Cole was vanquished in the alternate reality, then why are the other demons who remained alive in that reality {the seer, et.al}, not brought forward to have to be vanquished again? i mean i get it, the producers/writers had decided to kill Cole, once and for all---but i couldn't help noticing that inconsistency. {happily, McMahon fans have nip/tuck, FF, meet market, etc.}
