Stephen Schwartz' music, especially the song "Day By Day", is excellent. Otherwise, this movie is really, Really, REally, REAlly, Really, REALLy, REALLY awful. Why does it exist? Well, it looks like it might have been an entertaining stage musical… and the Christian/Hippie seemed angle seems natural enough… so, the filmmakers added the expanded NYC locations and sets… and, they thought that, you know, it has a style… albeit unsuccessful. It's interesting to see the "World Trade Center" buildings. The "All for the Best" dance around the streets, and skyscrapers, is visually clever, and well performed by Victor Garber and David Haskell. More often than not, though, the film looks exuberantly ludicrous.
