Review of Sluga

Sluga (1989)
9/10
Philosophical and realistic film.

Multiple-value and tangled relationships between servant and boss. Imperceptible displacement of recognizable reality. Metaphysical dimension of our lives. See this film attentively. It's one of the best film during Gorby's perestroika. This pair - Director:Vadim Abdrashitov & Writer:Aleksandr Mindadze - is excellent tandem. I saw this film three times. Wonderful impressions! Sorry for my "Russian" English. Having called for help and going to meet a chopper with 14 minutes left of the film you know there is still at least 1 big scare left to come.I really recommend it to anyone at all. There is hardly anything left to say; the Russian title (Sluga = servant) says it all. Even for a good movie, this is really good.
