Huge Disappointment

I cannot believe how much praise this game has received. I was a huge fan of the series and I still am and I am very much looking forward to the next installment of the series. But I was just flat out disappointed with this game. It basically took out all of the fun elements from the last two, added a crappy story, and threw you out in the woods. I understand that they tried to add more depth to the gameplay but they went about it all wrong. I love infiltrating buildings and sneaking around trying to remain undetected. Crawling around in the grass isn't what I was looking for. Not to mention the Boss fights were completely mediocre. CQC was a nice edition but they could have done so much more with it. It became just as repetitive as the old fighting. Yes I know it's a stealth game so the hand to hand isn't the most important factor but when they force you to get into a hand to hand fight and make you use CQC I would hope that it would be better. It wasn't the worst game I've ever played. As a matter of fact it was far from it. But this game doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the first two.
