The supposed snuff footage is definitely fake and the movie would have earned a higher ranking had they not felt the need to lie to me. No MCPD is going to allow footage to be put in a movie especially *with* its watermark still on it! The death shot is taken from very far back and is barely a capture of the final moments. I'm sure this is done to keep people guessing as to its authenticity. There are some photos on the web at the moment of a car crash victim that have lead to a suit being filed against the pd from which they were leaked. There *are* real snuff films in existence. In evidence in police departments. I can think of a nice Canadian couple who made some rape murder films. I'm sure there are more but that is of course the first to come to mind.
