Wackiness with heart
6 April 2007
A wacky 40's style comedy with a late 60's vibe. This circular tale carries us on the journey of an uptight young exec, Karma. As she struggles with her past we watch her slowly unravel, transform and finally recreate herself only to end up where it all began. The story arc is wonderfully fresh. The performances are comically insightful and genuine. The gags are energetic and at times random. The comedy is very physical. The actors had a real workout. The "sisters" have good chemistry. New York City is as much a character as any of the actors. The movie on a tight budget reveals lots of heart and potential for future storytelling. Brava.
