Oh, I can't do anything fun tonight. I have to count my past sins, then alphabetize them. Oh, by the way, I'm thinking of snapping on Friday - A fun, character-developing filler episode. One negative side on season 2 is that the 'Darla' episodes were so strong that I got annoyed by every non-Darla episode. But what makes this episode so entertaining is the way 'Wesley' turns into this tough guy when he's pretending to be 'Angel' and finally getting 'some'. The actually storyline was a lot less interesting as 'Wesley' had to protect a girl named 'Virginia' from her father's enemies, but they didn't know that her father was planning on sacrificing her. Meanwhile 'Angel' is still torn up about 'Darla' and goes to a swami, or at least someone pretending to be a swami. The funniest scene of the episode was when 'Wesley' was forced to drink pig's blood, Alexis Denisof does a great job at being tortured in the last three seasons, but he is just as good at playing a lame useless idiot. I love him both ways. One thing that I did notice is that Charisma Carpenter's make-up was awful, she looked like a clown with the awful clothing she wore and the hair and all that make up. Despite that, it's quite an enjoyable comedy episode that wasn't quite necessary. But it's always fun when 'Angel' is called a 'eunuch'. WESLEY: It has to be Paul Lanier. He thought that would keep Virginia unprotected. Then when his men couldn't take me out, he tipped off Bryce that I wasn't Angel. He hoped Bryce would get me out of the way. ANGEL: What's going on? Where you in Virginia? WESLEY: That's beside the point. ANGEL: He was posing as you. Protecting a girl named Virginia. This guy Lanier is trying to kill her, or abduct her, or something. (7.5 out of 10)
