Weak HK sex comedy, worth seeing for a laugh.
25 July 2006
Chu isn't a happy man. His wife is a slovenly uncaring bitch who eats and reads during sex, and his boss Wang is a complete git who plays nasty tricks on him. And to top it all, Chu has a small penis too!!

When Wang catches one of his daughters trying to seduce Chu, he blames the poor guy rather than his own daughter. For punishment, Chu is sent on a quest to a haunted temple to steal a magic statue of Judge Lu. At the temple, Chu is attacked by a sexy ghost, who shags him but also tries to kill him; however, he is saved by the magic statue, which comes to life and scares away the evil ghost.

The statue of Judge Lu takes pity on Chu and decides to try and help improve his life. He endows him with the power of wisdom, makes his wife more bearable, and gives him a massive magic talking cock to boot! However, even with his new found brains and whopping trouser-snake, Chu finds life more difficult than he imagined…

This bonkers slice of HK stupidity is fun at first, but soon becomes a tedious affair when the same jokes involving Chu's chatty penis are repeated time and time again. During the frequent sex scenes we witness the schlong (played by Ronald Wong) bouncing enthusiastically up and down inside the 'vagina' and spouting jism at the point of orgasm (to achieve this effect, the Mr.Wong spits out a mouthful of milk). The penis is also able to detach itself from Chu and has the ability to fly!

With its wacky plot, constant saucy shenanigans, a bevy of gorgeous women shedding their clothes at every available opportunity, and plenty of softcore sex, 'Chinese Erotic Ghost Story' should have been unmissable; however, even rabid fans of weird HK cinema will probably find this one only worthy of a single viewing out of curiosity's sake.
