Went to see the movie last week . The movie is good to see but it contains some easily predictable scenes and also has some scenes which you can see only in typical Hindi movies(of Aditya chopra and karan johar type). I can't stop thinking that if only Mani rathnam has directed this movie, it could've been a great treat to watch. Kunal Kohli , at some places , thinks like a typical Hindi director and if he avoids this, he'll be a better director.
I got to tell u something about the songs. . The song 'Dekho Naa' has been wonderfully filmed. . Also the song 'Mere haath mein' is one of the best matured duets I've ever seen in Hindi movies.. Ravi k Chandran has done an excellent job, as always.
Aamir and Kajol have presented a good demonstration of acting. There are a great many number of close up shots for both of them . They 've effectively managed the close ups. . Good acting.. Overall, a good movie but if those typecast scenes 've been chopped off, would've been an even better film.
