Having been born in the year 1968, I was very inspired by the movie "Walkout" This movie really touched me. I am a Chicana born and raised in Orange County CA. My parents were also born in the O.C.Even though this protest was in 1968. Some racism still exists today. I hope more people watch this movie.( I noticed it is "ON DEMAND" on HBO)Edward James Olmos has my uttermost admiration and respect for taking the time,research,energy and dedication to make this movie. When I watched the movie "Walkout", When they cheered, I cheered. When they clapped,I clapped. When they cried, I cried. When Chicanos won that day, We ALL won!!! Viva La Raza!!
